DLF Emporio grants all your wedding wishes in this one of its kind Wedding Extravaganza - The Wedding Atelier presented by DLF Emporio and The Wedding Design Company from 24th to 26th August 2012.

Marriages are made in heaven and solemnized on earth. The three day grand event was amalgamation of the beauty & grandeur of Indian weddings and the opulence of international luxury brands. DLF Emporio and Vandana Mohan (The Wedding Design Company) came together and brought the finest of the wedding galore under one roof. From bespoke wedding trousseau to exquisite jewellery, conceptualized décor to complete wedding planning services, the event was haven for the couples who are getting married.

A stunning showcase of inspired originality, unique perspectives and bespoke luxury, all that one needs to create the perfect dream wedding was present in the Wedding Atelier. To keep the fervor high for all three days special showcases and launches were part of the extravaganza.

The bride and groom were blemished with choices of “Rarest of the Rare” collection, a wedding centric showcase of unique products created by 30 uber-luxe international and Indian brands present in DLF Emporio.

The first ever ‘Online Wedding and Gift Registry’ in India was launched by Ms. Raakhee Kapoor and her fiancé Mr. Alkesh Tandon. The first of its kind service assists the to-be-weds in conveying their wish lists to their guests.

The Wedding Atelier saw the unveiling of DLF Emporio wedding magazine titled ‘Timeless Weddings’. The magazine is a veritable guide for couples to plan their special day. Rohit Bal along with Ms. Dinaz Madhukar unveiled the magazine on this gracious occasion. To amalgamate the elements of the Wedding Atelier, popular TV anchor Ambika Anand compeered the panel discussion on the elements of perfect wedding with Dinaz Madhukar, Vandana Mohan, ace designer Rohit Bal, celebrated make-up artist Vipul Bhagat. The models showcased Rohit Bal’s wedding ensemble and Vipul Bhagat’s make-up for this wedding season.

The exhibition also had a high-end floral installation in place by internationally celebrated floral designer Rob Van Helden. The twelve feet-high floral installation in lime green and white, using varieties of hydrangeas, statice, shamrocks and dendrobium orchids dominated the mall entrance. The 20,000 flower stems were used to make huge impact through flowers. These installations border between contemporary and traditional and can liven up any ceremony or wedding reception.

At the Wedding Atelier, every aspect was nurtured from Bridal Make-up by noted make-up artist Vipul Bhagat to Floral Jewelry, to a Mehendi artist, special decorated cakes and hampers by Oberoi Patisserie, wedding photography by celebrity photographer, Joseph Radhik, wedding cinematography by Badal Jain and of course completes wedding management services. The idea of the event to showcase the trends through a platform which brings together various elements that make a perfect wedding was accomplished in this three day extravaganza.
