Business Leadership Awards: DLF chosen as the leader

The award saluted business leaders whose relentless pursuit of excellence has fuelled India’s journey to the forefront of the world economy. This award saw India’s best business leaders under one roof and was presented by Honourable Finance Minister, Mr P Chidambaram. Opening the award ceremony, Honb’le Finance Minister, Mr P Chidambaram said, “This is a happy occasion when we celebrate India’s success and India’s success is largely due to India’s private sector’s success…”
Extensive research was carried to determine the nominees and the winners. The jury comprised of eminent personalities like Dr. Amit Mitra, on the Board of Directors of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), on the Board of GAIL (India) Limited, Ms. Anu Aga, Director on the Thermax’s Board of Directors, Mr. N.R. Narayana Murthy, Chairman Emeritus, Infosys, Mr. Suman Dubey, Chief representative in India for Dow Jones & Co, Mr. Kiran Karnik, President, NASSCOM, Dr. Vijay Kelkar, Chairman of IDFC Private Equity Company Limited, India Development Foundation, a major “Think-Tank” , Citibank’s Indian Advisory Council and NDTV's Chairman, Dr. Prannoy Roy. |
