Job Summary

To ensure readiness of Fire vehicles and other emergency equipment at fire stations and in buildings. Development of DLF Fire Services to achieve world class competency

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating Fire & Life Safety awareness among the fire staff by conducting regular Fire drills & trainings
  • Conduct regular Field training of firefighting at designated location in the buildings
  • Conduct Class room trainings for DLF/FM employee on Evacuation & Emergency handling.
  • To maintain the inventory level of firefighting equipment, rescue items and general PPE's at Fire station
  • Raise the requirements of new fire and safety gadget to concerned
  • To conduct the training of new employees & fire staff regarding Fire & life safety.
  • Respond to fire emergency calls when required.
  • Plan and review Fire station staff manning, and Fire equipment as required, and budget it accordingly with the help of Central Fire Safety Team.
  • Ensure the efficacy and motivation of Fire Department employees is maintained to provide support to different sites.
  • To coordinate scenario based tactical exercises on various fire & Rescue related conditions.
  • To check and ensure that all fire vehicles are inspected, tested and maintained as per schedule and Annual Maintenance Contract.
  • To check and ensure the free movement of Bronto Skylift and Water Bowser in all facilities covered by Cybercity, Gurugram Fire Station.
  • To Plan and conduct training to building fire teams on operation of fire emergency equipment and practical firefighting.
  • To ensure scheduled building evacuation drills and demonstrate operation of fire vehicles.
  • To visit the sites where outsourced fire tenders are deployed for assessment of fire tender and crew performance.
  • Provide necessary advice to the CRM/Mall Manager during any event/function for fire tender movement.
  • Present Fire station activities on monthly basis to the management.
  • Co-ordinate with DLF 5 Fire station and organize familiarization program across both fire stations.
  • Any other task/ responsibility assigned by the management from time to time.
Skills Required
  • Should have a thorough knowledge about upkeep & Maintenance of Fire vehicles , Fire appliances & equipments.
  • Conversant with fire drills & operation of fire vehicles
  • Rescue from height particularly in case of fire.
  • Knowledge of Fire risks & precautions to be taken to mitigate .
Qualifications
  • Graduate with Station Officer (STO) /Divisional Officer(DO) course from NFSC, Nagpur
  • BE (Fire) from NFSC Nagpur
Experience
  • STO/DO with 15-20 years’ experience for handling and maintaining a full-fledged fire station in a big industry or PSU/ Govt Fire station.
  • BE (Fire ) with 10 years of experience for handling and maintaining a full-fledged fire station in a big industry or PSU/Govt Fire station.
