DLF Offices aligns our sustainability goals with our tenant partners, driving a collective impact on the environment. We champion an eco-friendly work environment built on innovation and responsibility. A testament to this commitment, DLF Offices holds the world's largest portfolio of office spaces certified with LEED Platinum and LEED Zero Water standards by the US Green Building Council.

OUR COMMITMENT
TO SUSTAINABILITY

DLF Offices, as a leading developer reshaping India's urban landscapes with top-quality buildings, embraces the responsibility to create lasting value for all stakeholders. This commitment empowers our goal to drive business growth while preserving natural resources.

To support this mission, we have established an Environmental Management System (EMS) that meets ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 standards across our properties to help reduce our carbon footprint. Our Environmental Policy directs our activities and decisions in key areas, including biodiversity, waste management, pollution control, water conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable sourcing.

Approved by nature,
certified by the world

Our rigorous water conservation efforts have enabled over 40 mn. sq. ft. of our properties to achieve a net-zero balance in potable water use. This has been recognized by the USGBC with the LEED Zero Water certification.

More than 45 million sq. ft. of our rental portfolio has been certified or pre-certified LEED Platinum by the USGBC-making it the largest such portfolio held by any developer globally.

The LEED Platinum rating recognizes outstanding sustainability and quality of life within an ecosystem. DLF Cyber City, Gurugram made history as the 1st development in the world to receive this certification. Following this achievement, DLF Cyber City, Chennai has become the 2nd development to earn the same recognition.

DLF Cyber City, Hyderabad is India's first workplace to receive the LEED Zero Waste Certification, awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council. It is joined by DLF Cyber City, Chennai and DLF Cyber City, Gurugram (Buildings 7A, 7B, 9A, 9B) in achieving this prestigious certification.

DLF Cyber City, Hyderabad has earned the prestigious LEED Zero Energy certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, recognizing its net-zero annual energy consumption.

The advanced sustainability practices in all our projects have enabled us to achieve the respected Green Star rating in ESG from GRESB.

Green initiatives:
The smart way forward

Water
WATER RECYCLING

For us, every drop of water matters. That's why we recycle 1.93 million KL of water annually through advanced infrastructure, reusing it for landscaping, cleaning, and other essential operations.

Water
RAINWATER UTILISATION

To ensure no amount of water is wasted, we harvest 5 million KL of rainwater annually, reducing our dependence on freshwater.

Water
SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT

Across all our buildings, STPs enable 100% recycled water usage for HVAC & DG cooling, horticulture, and flushing. At DLF Cyber City, Gurugram, the STP operates at a capacity of 7 million litres per day.

Water
WATER EFFICIENCY

Through advanced STP maintenance, our systems operate at up to 95% efficiency, ensuring maximum water reuse and aiming zero net freshwater consumption.

Water
REDUCTION IN FRESH WATER CONSUMPTION

As per the National Building Code, the daily per-person water consumption standard is 40L. At DLF buildings, usage is reduced to just 20-25L, nearly half the norm.

Water
SMART WATER MANAGEMENT AT EVERY DROP

Meters and sub-meters track water use at every point, while low-flow taps cut flow by 50-60%. Pressure-reducing valves, efficient irrigation systems, sensor-based fixtures, waterless urinals, and low-flow dual flush systems further optimise usage across facilities.

WASTE
WASTE RECYCLING

5.1 Million KG waste recycled annually.
Waste from our developments is sorted and recycled, while organic waste is composted for landscaping at our campuses.

WASTE
REDUCE. REUSE. RECYCLE. COMPOST

Proper waste management is ensured through on-site segregation and vendor-managed recycling and disposal. From e-waste to organic waste, every stream is handled responsibly, with organic waste composters converting wet waste into compost for horticulture.

ENERGY
GREEN ENERGY GENERATION

We generate 3.9 million kW of green energy annually and are steadily transitioning through strategic partnerships and infrastructure. Most buildings feature rooftop solar plants, with DLF Chennai operating on 85% green power, DLF Cyber City, Hyderabad on 100%, and DLF Mall of India Noida on 50%.

ENERGY
SOLAR MODULES

With a solar capacity of 3,950 kW, we have installed solar energy systems across our developments nationwide, reinforcing our commitment to driving progress while minimising carbon impact.

ENERGY
EVERYDAY EFFICIENCY

Sustainability is integrated into every aspect of our buildings. Features such as photosensitive lighting and regenerative drive elevators assist our tenants in conserving energy in their daily operations.

ENERGY
SMART ENERGY SYSTEMS POWER OUR SUSTAINABLE VISION

Energy efficiency is enhanced through sensor-enabled LED lighting for optimised usage, regenerative elevators that feed energy back into the grid, and automated tube cleaning systems that maintain peak performance while reducing energy consumption.

ENERGY
SMART ENERGY
OPTIMISATION

Energy efficiency is driven by high-efficiency pumps that reduce energy consumption by 15-40%, smart HVAC systems that optimise indoor climate through sensors and automation, and design features like large windows that maximise natural light to minimise reliance on artificial lighting.

ENERGY
PASSIVE DESIGN FOR THERMAL EFFICIENCY

Energy performance is enhanced through Optimised building orientation, high-performance insulation, and energy-efficient glazing minimise heat gain and loss-reducing energy consumption and enhancing HVAC efficiency.
